I better don´t do a clean install then or ever wipe my database... Most likely the neweer version dislkikes your tagging in a way then. Can be one of these Case Sensitive new "features" and the way the artist tag is treated meanwhile :( My own tagging isn´t very complex but consistent, that may help here.
