Sorry. My dysgraphia (broken cerebral hardware) is at its worst late at night, and my posts tend to be unfathomably cryptic. I should know better after more than 20 years on Usenet, but I still get these little bursts of enthusiasm... My point was that, in Windows Idiot Mode, without any indication that SBS is still rescanning my collection, and assuming I don't know (or care?) how to look at the scanner progress, it's quite likely that I'm going to yell and scream about "empty collections". I have no intention of using Windows for anything other than a test. Once the scan is done (70% in 17 hours right now) I'll reboot the same box with some other OS. There are a few other SBS users here at work (University IT Dept) and I've been asked which is the best set up for running SBS on a SFF PC + NAS combo. As for UNC... well, when it comes to Windows, I'm happily ignorant. -- pallfreeman Meh. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pallfreeman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37667 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89306 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
