'How to' or 'why to'? Why to: Mapped drives will work ok if you're running Squeezebox Server at user login. But UNC paths work also and won't break if the drive letter is later changed and won't break if you later want to run SBS as a service. UNC paths are preferred (usually required) when running SBS as a Windows service. It's difficult to map a drive letter for use by Windows services. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/182750/how-to-map-a-network-drive-to-be-used-by-a-service -- JJZolx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89306 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
