How often do you change these settings ? To me it's something I set once
and never change after that, for a new user I guess it can be 2-3 times
but still not that often over the lifetime of a LMS installation.
Let's focus on improving stuff we use on daily basis rather than stuff
we use once a month/week or similar.
People can always run scanning over night so scanning time really only
becomes an issue if it takes more than 4-5 hours on decent hardware.
Also, if scanning takes 16 hours for someone it's not going to matter if
we improve it 20%, to make a difference it really need to be improved
2-3 times, so we need to make sure any improvement in this area makes
significant difference to make it worth the effort.
