I have the same issue on my QNAP TS-853 that you had. Could you explain to me (I'm LINUX clueless) exactly what you copied and to where? I at least have made some limited use of WinCP to enable install of LMS 7.9 on my NAS. Sounds like the text copying is the same idea.
