There's quite a few people, not just in the UK, getting into difficulties with the BBC iPlayer plugins. When there are problems with the stream URLs people can get stuck, when all they need to do is clear cache.db. I suspect there may be other use cases of which I'm unaware. A user-friendly command to do this from somewhere on the settings GUI would be helpful.
