Since there were 2 students looking to submit seam calculation I was
thinking of other possible projects,
One that I've thought would be fun for a while is a way to apply a
mesh like a UV unwrapped texture.

My main concern is that it could easily give very heavy meshes quickly
and may not be so well suited to our modifier stack which keeps all
faces in memory at once.
