I would say that as you build, most of the time you need the basic
added meshes to be the same size, so keeping the setting makes good
sense to me. I would be nice to have it uniform, if that is easy to
fix. It is something that has annoyed me in the past, even to the
point that I thought the cube failed to be added because it so much
bigger that my current view.
