Hi David 1. I use Windows 10 and the open source driver from the 3d connexion site. 2. I didn't know that the 3d Mouse can't controll the objekt in blender (like in CAD) but only the 3d viewport. 3. By "it doesn't work properly" i meant that i can't navigate in the desired direction. It does everything in the opposite direction and it's not possible to rotate on any axis. 4. Did you leave the default settings in blender or did you change anything?
Thanks in advance Samuel Huster -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Bf-committers <[email protected]> Im Auftrag von DJ Ortley Gesendet: Sonntag, 21. Windows 10 and Debian Linux respectively. I've not had problems with previous releases of Blender, and it's working well for me with the 2.8 release candidates. It doesn't behave like CAD modeling software and 3D Connexion training tools where the mouse controls the object, but manipulates the camera view instead which I think is preferable for Blender. What does "it doesn't work properly" mean? -David On Sat, Jul 20, 2019 at 3:49 PM Stephen Swaney <[email protected]> wrote: > What operating system and what driver? > > I had a Space Mouse working with the open source ndof under Linux. > > Can't test at the moment since stuff is packed up for moving. > S. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: [email protected] > To: "bf-blender developers" <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, July 19, 2019 12:46:46 PM > Subject: Re: [Bf-committers] 3d connexion support > > Ok, thanks for the quick answer. > > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: Bf-committers <[email protected]> Im Auftrag von dr. > Sybren A.
