Two players in a coffee-house? Hive. I say that only because Hive is
the only game I've played in a bar. So far. Rat Hot would work nicely
for two players, too.

Unfortunately, I cannot access your game collection. Buccaneer? Robber
Knights? Taluva? Short games.

I presume something lightweight, too? Airships has a long board, but
otherwise doesn't take up too much space. To Court the King could take
up more. But I'd bring a dice tray for those games.

Race for the Galaxy would work, but I would hate to try to teach it in
that sort of setting.

Other small card games like Coloretto or Felix: The Cat in the Sack or
Citadels . . . those'd work. Condottiere, too. Very small board on
that one.

Through the Desert has a small board, so does Aquadukt. Santiago has a
small board, too.

Ingenious would seem to look like a Coffee-Shop game.
