Thanks everyone.  I forgot about Through the Desert which does have a
small board and box.  Would gamers try to eat the camels in the coffee
house setting?  Perhaps ... perhaps indeed.

I was also considering St. Petersburg but I wonder if it would take up
too much space late game with all of the cards in front of each
player.  Wasabi is another one that I considered.

And I will definitely bring Hive along for a two player game.  I'll
probably start with that and then move to Race if the noise isn't
bad.  Last time various bands would play a couple of songs last time
we were there.  Some were fine and a couple were loud to the point
of ... I can't really explain games.

Colorretto would work with the group I'm meeting.  I wonder if the
lighting will make seeing the different colors difficult.  I wish
there were shapes as well as colors on the cards to differentiate.
