I just received "Dominion" for xmas and played my first game last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to playing many more. I was curious about the mandatory presence of Curse Cards in the "first game" set-up. From what I understand these would only be used in conjunction with the Remodel and Mine cards and don't seem to be worth the risk to try and convert them. In the game we played we just avoided them all together and I see this as being the norm. Am I using the curse cards correctly? and couldn't I just leave them out of the "first game" set-up all together?
