Dear Akhil The answers to your questions are as follows:
(1) Is it possible to have a video conferencing facility in the meeting, so that people who can not make there physical presence may interact through this facility. Please be looking for notice of the online meets. We already had one this month. National convention is meant for direct interaction with the members. We can have an online session during the national convention to update people who are not able to attend and incorporate there views. However, if you are in India, I would request you to make it convenient to attend the convention. Please treat it as a get-together of members, who otherwise do not have an occassion to meet. Also,the bond between the members increases by meeting personaly as also a sence of belonging to the group/organisation develops during such get-togethers. (2) Secondly, is there any group or method which is active on gmail (like yahoo group)? There is a google BM disscussion group which appears to be inactive at the moment. I will enquire with the person who was moderating the group and let you know if it can be reactivated. If not, we will start another group, that should not be a problem. Sustainability is more important compared to starting a group. Sustainability comes through activity. (3) If not, then it is really very essential and required thing. We can not expect to interact with a bigger group just through yahoo mails or yahoo group. I feel, this needs to be expanded. I hope I have answered your queries satisfactorily.
