Ethics and moral teaching are the same and vary from time to time ,plsce to
plsce, situation to situation and person to person. Children need to be taught
life values, self improvement techniques for body mind and soul. Day to day
behaviour and functioning.

Hello Mr. Thakur

My name is Vineet and this would be my first reply iin this forum. Ethics is
something which is intrinsic I agree with this statement. The things which
might be ethical to me might not be ethical to you is the same explanation
which one comes across every time this issue of ethics come. What i think
rather talking about ethics one should teach about issues which are common to
everyone.... like moral issues or how should they behave in certain
circumstances are more importants. The two school os thoughts will continue to
exist ... and one cannot find solution of these kind of questions there own ...
it should be looked from other's perspective rather than ur own

Regards and Thanks

Subject: [bm] ethics as a subject

Friends,

One subject that often crops up for discussion during the MBA studies is that
regarding the teaching of "Ethics in Management". While there is one group that
feels that ethics can not be taught and it is something intrinsic. Hence, there
is no point in teaching ethics as a subject.
But there are others who feel that teaching of the subject does have a sublime
effect, which though not apparently felt, has insidious effect no doubt.
The same kind of dilemma grips the Police training curricula as well. Does the
group feel that a subject like "Ethics in Policing" in the training program of
IPS, State service officers and other subordinate levels has any relevance and
can have any effect in making substantial effect on the policing system? Or for
that matter introduction of such subjects in other curricula like law,
medicine, engineering, social service and so on ?
