I live in Bhopal and Hoshangabad (Sohagpur) . In Bhopal , we have our central office for retail and other work, while we are developing a cluster of very backward villages in Sohagpur tehsil. Currently water is the main problem , so working on canals, small dams etc. Next we will get to better seeds and also solar energy. I have done engg. from IITK (96 batch) and then MBA from IIM Lucknow (00 batch) . I have worked in Indian Oil, Infosys, CTS and Franklin templeton before joining 7avenues. I also manage showoff in banglore in consulting head role. My passion has been realising the huge income potential residing in villages. With that , had been working on retail linkage, farm improvement projects . Last 3 years in this project have been very tough , with events ranging from disruption by local powerful folks to seed , fertilizer, water problems. But we are quickly reaching a stage where next few years will see good farm outputs.
