Akalpita - Regarding the hosting of the meeting, I have a facility in the village but ideal for such discussions and can host as many as required.
Its in Sohagpur in Hoshangabad district. Convenient rail stations are Itarsi ( 40 kms ) and Bhopal (110 kms) . And airport is Bhopal. The stay is going to be comforting but due to dense forests around , we have small machaans for double bed units. And makeshift but western and modern amenities. We wont have to incur any costs except individual travel. We use it for leadership offsites and organisational building (www.inspiringindia.in and www.big-vision.com)- so it is also used by corporate folks. Best weather is from now till March. Please think over - its an available option. Regarding the building of an organisation and points for meeting discussion, I am sure we have thought but still sharing my two cents based on the exposure to strategy when undertaking a business or military or political or social mission: -we need clear goals and org. structure so that a diverse set of people dont run in different directions. Where do we stand? It appears that most of the members have become inactive. Since now we are registered as an organisation, we need people who are willing to shoulder responsibilities and participate actively in building up our group. Those who are willing, kindly write. Let us re-activate the chapters first. Then organise chapter activities. We should have a national meet also so that we can meet in person and discuss various issues. Bangalore chapter had volunteered to host the national meet in dec. however, now it appears that they are not able to do so. In that case, may I request other members to suggest alternate place, suitable dates and who will take up the responsibility?
