Dear Friends I am very pleased to read carefully drafted letter by Sandeep which also speaks of the background knowledge he has. I will be very pleased if he could take a lead role in going forward in the directions he mentioned. This will need a lot of discussions amongests the members, atleast those who want to be active.Sandeep has raised very valid points and we need to discuss on these.
Let us look at the points have been mentioned one by one: (1) we need (a) clear goals and (b) org. structure so that a diverse set of people dont run in different directions. We have clear goals which have been defined in our vision document. However, the purpose can be still clear. Let us start discussion (1) our goals (2) how to achieve these and then do (3) the ground work to achieve them. We also have to define a methodology to achieve the end results. I invite all the members of the group to participate in this discussion. We also have a constitution which deines organisational structure. The point is, we must become formal members of the organisation, participate in elections to form a team. Time and again I am asking people to be formal members, but with no response. Let us start with you. You can send the membership form to our office. I also request al others to be members of Bhumi/ Bharat Uday Mission and be active participants. (2) clear set of values and enforcement - so that those willing to work there know what is acceptable/ required and what is not , and the discipline is maintained. This is also defined in our constitution. (3) a momentum towards goals so that time is not lost (as time continuosly works against those with momentum) already explained in (1) above. (4) resources to carry out a mission or in absence of resources, the plan to raise them so that a mission is not lost midway for want of them This is the trickiest part of our mission. But I am sure, there will be other members who will have an idea as to how to raise funds. But, still, it needs to be worked out, I agree. I request all members to give suggestions and work towards this.
