I have been following this chain for a long while now, but I thought its high
time, I chimed in. First off, take a deep breath and relax. No one recognizes
Google maps as the official maps in the world. Also, the one common global maps
by Google is maps.google.com. Have a look in that and you will notice Arunachal
Pradesh listed as a disputed territory, (which is what it currently is even if
India does rightly claim, it to be a part of her country. There has to be a
complete global agreement for it not to be called a disputed territory).
We have to at this point recognize Arunachal Pradesh as disputed, which is
somewhat like J7K, except in the case of J&K, situation is more worse, with the
other country controlling a part of that state.

Additionally, as I stated before, Google maps is not the official, take it more
as a guidance for what it is and drop this issue for now. I am sure the foreign
office will look at the matter of how to address issues w.r.t Arunachal
Pradesh.

Regards,
Shiva.

Google's recent activity surely indicates poor indian foreign
policy, which indicates that we scare of china.Thats why all around its all
these activities our politicians only say few things to shut media's mouth. It
is simmiliar like if we close our eyes even when police rapes any women in
front of our eyes.Do we afraid of china?though he is powerfull than us then
what?we can't bare all these things, why don't india take strong action at
world level? Why we all are shut up after few days wandering of media persons? I
think we should raise this topic in a cyber way, we should send mails to all
our friends in social networking groups. And media persons should be involved in
it.
