I've modified the BibDeskToWord program to use regular BibDesk templates for its references (not just for the bibliography section, but now for the in-text citations). The problem is I need two templates for any given style: one for \cite/citep and one for \citet. As a reminder, a \cite would be "... (Albrecht, 2009)" and a \citet would be "Albrecht (2009) said that...".

Right now I've included both styles in a SINGLE file. The first line of the text/Word/rtf template is the \cite format and the second line is the \citet format. It works fine, but I'm a little nervous because it is a different setup than regular BibDesk templates, which are one style per file. The other alternative is to have the user select TWO files (one for each style), but that's more difficult to explain to the average user.

Any advice? Am I worrying about nothing, or should I stick with the BibDesk way of doing things? Any other ideas?
