Hi -

I used bibdesk throughout my PhD and it has been fantastic. I'm moving
from Mac to Linux - I'd like to keep on using my bib file, and would
like to be able to switch back and forth between Mac/Linux - any
software suggestions? I hope some of you here have experience of this.

I've had some people recommend JabRef but, blimey, it's clunky in
comparison to BibDesk! It has that ugly windowsy java design, it feels
to me not particuarly productive (though that's a first impression).
It also changed my .bib file in ways I didn't want. Is there anything
for linux that's better? Or is JabRef not so bad really?

Thanks for any suggestions -
Dan
