I don't agree.  Koolstop pads may be a better pad compound in general,
but their salmon colored pads outperform all others.

I have a picture around here I'll try to find of a dual-compound
Koolstop pad that I used for several months.

The black compound had a half-dozen bits of aluminum embedded into the
pad, the salmon, none.

So, if you're planning on a major upgrade of your pads, only get the
salmon-colored pads.

Second choice would be the dual compound pads.
