The recco's for the Bianchi mixte were so good, I thought to ask what
folks here might suggest for my recently acquired late 70's Motobecane
mixte. It's a good unit: nicely lugged, light, Vitus steel frame.

It is currently carrying Weinmann 500's. They are sidepulls... so I
cannot use the recco's from the Bianchi thread. The bike is in
excellent shape and has become (much to my surprise) my daily ride.

The bars are very similar in shape to what's found on those old
Raleigh Tourists... except a bit more compact. It has Suntour bar-top
mounted thumb shifters which are exceptionally nice and which I plan
to keep.
