Not really. My eXXp came in January 2007 with a solid fork, Rohloff 
500EX hub, no rear suspension, and V-brakes rather than disks. So it 
should be comparable with the Silk Road, excepting the latter's disk 
brakes and other nice little features like the stop for fork rotation 
and a clamp for the BB eccentric.
