Get well - it is disconcerting to hear these stories. I am currently
living in Jerusalem, and drivers here seem to think that every cyclist
is a possible terrorist. I only dare ride on the Sabbath (but then it
is nice, though extremely hilly).
Anyone interested in a Rohloff hub with a drop bar should consider the
Mittelmeyer grip: http://www.mittelmeyer.de/html/rennlenker.htm I have
it on my tourer, and I think it is the best compromise. It is a bit
stiffer, but other than that it is a joy.
