Hi guys. I'm looking into getting a new headset for my new Nobilette randonneur frame & I just don't understand the wide price range for seemingly similar-performance-level headsets. The units I'm looking at are: $40: Velo-Orange Grand Cru or Tange Falcon, $70: Campy Record or Shimano Ultegra $125: Chris King
The "odd man out" would be the $50 Stronglight A9 with roller bearings (which I'm favoring at this point). What does the extra money really buy me?
