Well, for ten bucks over the Tange, with the A-9 you get a roller bearing headset vs round balls, a really good looking headset with a great reputation, and what they say is less chance of shimmy. That's probably worth ten bucks, although you'd best not linger if you're planning to get one, because they were discontinued earlier this year and what's out there now is all there's going to be. I bought one for my Velo Orange Randonneur, but since it wasn't then available anywhere in the US, had to get it from the UK. Rene Herse Bicycles has them in stock right now, $48 plus $10 shipping (I don't think it'll fit in a flat priority ship USPS envelope, but if it does, $6 shipping). http://www.renehersestore.com/servlet/the-Headsets--dsh--Modern-and-Vintage/Categories BTW - they also have the Tange Levin for $20, if you want to go cheaper. The Levin has a good reputation, too. And they have a Miche needle bearing headset for $48. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Bicycle Lifestyle" group.
