Stainless steel should be drilled slowly with a sharp drillbit and a 
decent cutting fluid like 'Tapmatic'
The moment the drill speed is too high, it generates heat and the 
stainless becomes tough.
A press drill at its lowest speed work well.
A hand drill works best if one can still get one or borrow one from an 
old timer.
