So far efforts of *targeted* H/W donation have not had any traction
with Apache.
If you can help with that directly -- please follow up with practical
recommendations
(either on-list or off). If not -- this is an academic discussion at
best and the
current status quo is that Apache Foundation does NOT host yum/apt repos,
nor, to the best of my knowledge does it have any desire to do so in the
near future.

I fail to see the applicability, but then again -- I'm not a lawyer. That said,
if anybody on this list (especially the mentors!) feel like this is something
we should consider -- I'd love to have a practical discussion.

Well, in that case -- the answer to my initial question is -- no.
There's NO place
where I can currently get the binary distributions of these community produced
packages. Which is a fine answer, by the way.
