On my way home tonight I encountered a mass of police vehicles near the intersection of North Shore Drive and John Nolan. An SUV sat just ahead of the North Shore Drive left-hand turn lane onto John Nolan. A bicycle was pinned beneath the front, right wheel of the vehicle. The cyclist was taken to the ER in an ambulance after sustaining what one officer described to me as "very likely non-life threatening injuries". The driver was no where to be seen and was mostly likely also at the ER or in the back of one of the many squad cars. As I left police were photographing the scene. No other details.
