O, Cindy, say it ain't so! I agree that speed humps can be a little bit of a nuisance for us, but mainly if you want to keep up a Tour de France time trial pace.
The ones on Kendall were built with a very low angle and height that my bike (and about everyone else's that I see from my front walk) cruises over with no apparent problem. They're much better for bikes than the ones on Manitou (but then not seemingly as effective as slowing cars down...). C'est la vie... Give us a try again! Regarding stop signs, there are options for stopping more cross traffic, but traffic of all kinds on most cross streets (with the exception of Franklin, Farley, Highland and Allen) is very light.
