I'd love to see an effective ped/bike crossing of Fish Hatchery between the Wingra Path and Badger Road. My son and I ride our bikes to work/school on Wednesdays (only day I work down there) and the 5-mile (one-way) trip through the Arboretum is exceedingly pleasant except for trying to cross Fish Hatchery at the level of Carver Street to get to Catalpa. It's one of the few times that I'll ride on the sidewalk (so we can cross at the mostly-ineffectual flashing yellow at Carver and then get down to Catalpa.)
If a better crossing occurred as part of the Cannonball project, that would be great...but, yes, this funding is great news!
