The path is open between North Shore and Olin Park / Olin-Turville Ct. The
bicycle detour uses the Wingra Creek Path under John Nolen Drive. The railroad
was also going to provide a gravel crossing of the tracks at Olin Ave for
bicyclists and walkers, so you can at least walk your bike across if you wanted
to. Probably not the best route with a trailer or tag along. - - Arthur

Subject: [Bikies] Alert: John Nolen Drive Railroad Crossing: 8/19/2011 -
8/22/2011

I'm disappointed. I have a great view of John Nolen from my cube. I was
looking forward to a view of an empty John Nolen Drive. Inbound car
traffic is still moving. Outbound cars are being forced to exit at North
Shore Drive.

I can't tell whether or not the bicycle path is open past North Shore Drive.
