Emissions are more than just CO2 and while it's true that an SUV will emit
significantly more carbon monoxide per mile than a 2-stroke scooter, a
2-stroke scooter will emit more unburned hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide.
It's not an apples to apples comparison and neither side of the argument
should attempt to simplify as such.
