Just curious, has anyone seen electric scooters that work well?

As to where to park, I once recieved tickets for parking my 1978 Maxilux 2
British racing green with chrome Puch (a sweeeeeet albeit slower scooter, 49 cc
and pedals..which  crank the spark and I need to do to get up hills here!) on
the SAME day for parking on a sidewalk AND parking in a paid for meter...that
was in Evanston..not here.  I prefer the two wheel burning 25 calories a mile
method of conveyance...

Just walked by the corral on king...great to see...we were gone since the
11th...wtgo!  for "branding" purposes I'd suggest we all refer to
bicycle/scooter parking not as bike parking but "Customer" or "employee"
parking...cuz that's why we're there!  people will see the light better if they
understand that's really why people are accessing those parking options!

Got in too late to catch the show at the East Side Club...looked like a great
event!

on our 8 day college tour cavalcade of the Southeast and East Coast it's
obvious that 1) Savannah needs B Cycle!!!  2) Riding a bike in DC is freakin'
scary!  3)cyclists in Pittsburgh must descend from Mountain Goats  4) going to
the Mountains of Northern Georgia and NC is a must!

than one that goes 25 on the same litre-- 25 times more per unit
distance."

Emissions are more than just CO2 and while it's true that an SUV will emit
significantly more carbon monoxide per mile than a 2-stroke scooter, a 2-stroke
scooter will emit more unburned hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide. It's not an
apples to apples comparison and neither side of the argument should attempt to
simplify as such.

Assertions that mopeds are worse offenders on emissions than consumer trucks
are based upon a definition of emissions that's decades past its pull date.
