Thanks, Chuck, for posting that.

I'd like to mention that the study area extends from Blair to Bedford, so
includes some of the most difficult intersections and congestion spots in
downtown as well as some of the best connections.

The city is looking for input on where new connections should be built or
developed, as well as what those connections should look like. They have
received lots and lots of input about areas where there are conflicts
between or lack of adequate space for cars, bikes, and pedestrians, as well
as other lake users: runners, sightseers, tourists, water skiers, fishing,
swimming, sunbathing, etc.

   - Some of the questions they are considering: should bridges be built,
and if so where and should they just be basic bike/ped bridges, or more
   like wide green spaces?
   - Is there enough space along the lake for all the uses? If not, should
the green space be widened by filling in park of the lake shore?
   - Should there be a counterflow lane on Wilson?
   - Solutions to the Blair/Wilson/John Nolen/Willy mess.
   - Best place for an intercity bus station
   - Are there other conflict areas? (Broom or North Shore Dr?)

I hope to see lots of folks there.

Robbie
