I don't remember the details, but I seem to recall one or more townships in
western Dane County enacted stuff like that.  I think the stuff was
repealed.  However, I bring this up because if anyone remembers the details
and how it was resolved to the satisfaction of all (if it was), it would be
good to mention that to Craig Hardy.  The initial impetus was that roads
are for cars, and bikes, even fast-moving ones, are in the way; this
outmoded thinking is, well, outmoded.   I will include it in my e-mail to
him if someone can bring me up to speed on this stuff.
