Donna, While it may be considered poor email etiquette by many to send an email attachment to a list serve, your question was appropriate and genuine. If anyone is concerned about receiving an email attachment they can simply choose not to delete the email in question. They could even set up a filter so that emails with attachments from a list serve go directly to their trash or junk mail folder. I've never heard of a case where anyone has been forced to open an email attachment.
Feel free to ask questions to this list serve regarding use of the list or content. We are a group that has diverse opinions and you are bound to get some reasonable answers.
