Here's the story behind a bicyclist/photographer's time-lapse video of the new LRT route between Saint-Paul and Minneapolis. Bicycle content is secondary at best, with some references to how early construction of the line proved to be a nice bikeway, photography of bike trails, and to the somewhat more obscure hobby of "railbiking." But many on this list also have an interest in public transit, so it's a reminder that some of Wisconsin's neighbours are doing a much better job than here in Madison, where rail transit has been discussed to death for decades, with still nothing but an antiquated bus-only city transit department. Photogeeks will probably also enjoy it.
