Even when the weather-folk were using terms like "life-threatening cold" earlier this week, there were a few idiots out at the bus stop without hats. After noticing one guy wearing tennis shoes and cotton socks (he took off his shoe to scratch his foot or straighten out his sock, that's how I knew), I asked him, "Do you not own wool socks, or are you from North Dakota?" He said, "Well, I didn't think I'd be outside that long." WTF? He was standing around waiting for a bus!
