=v= Good grief, "the left?" Sounds like some sort of monologue going on inside one's head, or perhaps it's a dialogue with the teevee (one guess which "news" network). =v= The State Senator behind this proposed law represents San Gabriel Valley, which is wealthy and moderate. The opposition that's emerged in the last few days has mostly been from the more liberal San Francisco Bay Area. The statewide advocacy group, FWIW, is opposed: https://calbike.org/stopsb192/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/petition/sign&sid=3 =v= Oh look, a South Dakota legislator is proposing the same thing (mandatory helmets and high-viz): http://www.thepetitionsite.com/575/549/720/south-dakota-dont-discourage-biking/ South Dakota, another state controlled by "the left," there's a commie under every rock there. =v= As for stats, yeah, stats can be misused. It takes some scrutiny to see when that's going on. Or, you know, one can just throw one's hands in the air and flatly reject all of them, the better to leave one's opinions intact. <_Jym_> _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org
