It is temporary lighting to replace the wall mounted lights that were on the
DOA Bldg.

Grant:

I assume you mean these plans for improvements to the Cap City:

Those do show a shift in the path at Dickenson. However, my guess is that there
is not any
new lighting going in there as there is a street light at that intersection.

I recall seeing a message about new lighting being installed, but thought it
was only two or
three lights, primarily between Blount and Paterson, but I can't find the
message now.

    Arthur/Michael,

I believe there is a draft plan that calls for the path to swing south
where it meets
Dickinson in order to facilitate an improved intersection design that
prioritizes path
traffic over traffic on Dickinson. Can you confirm if there is such a draft
plan and if the
planned lighting installation takes that into consideration? Thanks.

On Thursday, October 15th between 8:30AM and 3:00PM the Capital City Path will
be closed to allow for installation of path lighting.  The closure will occur

South Dickinson Street and South Thornton Avenue.

During the closure a signed detour will be provided directing path users north
on the
bike path to East Main Street and back south on South Dickinson Street.
