Whenever you upgrade to a new version of BIND (esp. when it is a new major version, and if you jumping forward multiple version numbers), I would recommend to read the change logs for the new version (you can find the changelogs in the "CHANGES" file in the source directory on ftp.isc.org). Also it might be good to read over new sections in the BIND 9 Reference Manual (BIND9ARM). You can find binary installer packages of BIND for Solaris 10 on <http://support.menandmice.com/download/bind/solaris/> (BIND 9.9.1-P3 will be available there later today). depending on the installation location of the new BIND versions, you need to adapt your startscript (Solaris 7/8/9) or the SMF manifest (Solaris 10/11).
