I am using a catalog zone between my primary authoritative server and my secondary authoritative server.

I am now looking to add a third-party secondary server for a particular zone, so I need to set allow-transfer / also-notify on that zone.

It seems that catalog zones support custom properties:
https://bind9.readthedocs.io/en/stable/chapter6.html#catalog-zone-custom-properties

Unfortunately "also-notify" does not seem to be a supported custom property.

If it was the other way around (also-notify was supported, but allow-transfer was not), I could probably just set allow-transfer globally. But it certainly seems undesirable to set also-notify globally, as then the secondary would be notified for changes to all sorts of zones they are not involved with.

The documentation for also-notify mentions something about the "primaries" (formerly "masters") setting, but I can't quite see a way for that to be a solution here.

Am I missing something here, or should I file a feature request?
