For 2 days Short-eared Owls have been seen along Earl Armstrong Rd in their traditional area between Limebank and Bowesville Rds. They are on the north side . 2 were seen last evening and 3 this evening. There were 2 or 3 Eastern Meadowlarks at the corner of Bowesville and Earl Armstrong Rds this evening.
This area is south of our airport and can be reached by taking River Rd south of Hunt club Rd, or by turning off Albion Rd onto High Rd (across from the "Rideau-Carleton Racetrack),and again onto Earl Armstrong Rd.
