Ontbirders:

There were two Yellow Rails callling this morning from 11:00 am to 11:25 am north of the bridge on Wylie Road. The rail on the west side of the road was very close and called in 5 minute intervals the whole time we were there. The rail on the east side only called twice. As well, a co-operative sedge wren afforded very close views while singing in the same area on the east side of the road. Additional sedge wrens could be heard at the bridge. A pair of Northern Harriers was also hunting on the west side north of the bridge. Numerous Upland Sandpipers, Savanah Sparrows and Eastern Bluebirds were also seen and heard on Wylie Road as well as Brown Thrashers, Eastern Towees, Hermit Thrushes and a Ruffed Grouse.

Good Birding,
