Fish Point was very birdy this morning with lots of warblers including 2 MOURNINGS, PARULA, BLACKPOLL, and abundant MAGNOLIAS and BLACK-THROATED BLUES. A late COMMON LOON swam off the tip. Also at Fish Point: a flock of 80 AMERICAN PIPITS and a NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD. An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER flitted about the wet swamp north of the parking lot.
Pelee Island Bird Observatory continues its banding and census operation.
