Here is a brief synopsis of the West Humber CBC, held in poor conditions
on Dec 14.

10,482 birds were recorded from 54 species. The average for the last
decade is 57.5 species
and >15,000 birds. Low numbers were reported for waterfowl, (only 2
species), raptors, doves, gulls,
Am Robins and Eur. Starlings. 

However there were still some excellent sightings.

1 Red-bellied Woodpecker (3rd record)
1 Common Raven (1st record)
1 Eastern Towhee (4th record)
1 Baltimore Oriole (1st record)
11 Lapland Longspurs (4th record)
2 Hoary Redpolls (3rd record)
