Greetings, This morning at 1145h Bill Gilmour, Maureen Riggs and myself saw and heard a Common Raven about 200m west of the lighthouse. It was initially being mobbed by crows, then took flight and began soaring west more or less along the shoreline. There were only three park records prior to 1990 but there must be at least a half dozen records since then (plus several other sightings from town). Landbird migrants were a bit thin but we also found 2 Winter Wren, numerous singing creepers, Gc Kinglets scattered all over,
Doug McRae Brighton Directions: Presqu'ile is best reached by taking Cty Rd. 30 (the Brighton Exit) and following 5 km south into the town of Brighton. From there, follow the park signs to Presqu'ile.
