Around noonhour the raptors to the east "decided" to arrive over the
Cranberry Marsh Raptor Watch in souhwest Whitby, ON. Eight of us thoroughly
enjoyed the sight of 164 Turkey Vultures, 2 GOLDEN EAGLES, 1 ROUGH-LEGGED
HAWK, 2 N.GOSHAWKS, 3 RED-SHOULDEREDS among 238 migrating raptors, mostly
after 12pmEDT. In addition, a great view of an adult tundrius Peregrine
captivated us for several minutes.

Along the pathway and in the shrubbery short of the viewing platform were 3
Fox Sparrows, several Cedar Waxwings and a male Eastern Towhee.

Exit the 401 at Salem, south to Bayly, east through LakeRidge to the first
street (Hall's Rd.), south to the second roadside parking area just north of
the lakefront.
