High Park itself was shrouded in fog, and until about 1:30 pm we saw no
birds.
Anthony, and myself decided to try the reservoir park located at the
south side of St Clair Ave, just east of Bathurst Ave.
From 2pm to 3pm we saw:
3 Sharp Shinned Hawks
1 American Kestrel
2 Red Shouldered Hawks
42 Red Tailed Hawks.
Our Red Tail numbers were conservative as we had not counted birds from
that location before, and we had not quite got the thread of the optimum
viewing area. We reckon that there were more. There were birds moving
westward to the south of the park, and to the north as well.
